Director of Academic Affairs TISOH: The International School of Hospitality
Donnell G. BAYOT, Ph.D., CPCE, CHE, CFBE
Donnell is a founding member, and has held the position of Director of Academic Affairs, for The International School of Hospitality for the past 9 years. He is active in industry and serves as the National Second Vice President for the National Association for Catering and Events (NACE) and as a Board of Advisor member for the Southern Nevada Hotel Concierge Association. He also serves as a Commissioner for the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET), and as Public Commission Member for the Convention Industry Council Certified Meeting Professional Governance Commission.
Donnell holds a Ph.D. in Workforce Development and Organizational Leadership from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). His doctoral research was in competency modeling. His research model has since become the basis of industry certifications including catering & events, wedding planning and concierge.
Awards for Donnell include the 2014 Pacesetter Award for Innovation by the Convention Industry Council, 2014 Young Event Pro to Watch by The Special Events, 2010 President’s List from NACE, 2009 Spirit of NACE Award from NACE Las Vegas Chapter, and the 2009 Presidential Commendation from Lions Club International.
